Septic excavation, Teton Valley
Tank holes, drain field trenches and repair digs, dug to the approved design and backfilled so the yard settles flat.

A septic system is mostly a hole dug right. The tank has to sit level at the depth the design calls for, the lines need the right fall, and the drain field has to be cut on contour so effluent spreads instead of running to one end. Get any of that wrong and the system fails early, usually in the spring when the ground is already wet.
Permit first, then the dig
New septic systems and most repairs in Teton County, Idaho need a permit from Eastern Idaho Public Health before any digging. The permit sets the tank size, the drain field layout and the depth. We dig to that design, and we're glad to walk the site with you before the application so the layout fits your access and your build.
Ground that fights back
Valley soils run from river cobble to tight clay, and a lot of lots hit rock a few feet down. We bring the machine that fits the hole, sort out rock as we go, and tell you what we're finding before it changes the plan.
Repair digs
When an older system backs up or the field surfaces, the first job is finding the tank and lines without tearing up the whole yard. We dig carefully to the problem, open it up for inspection, and backfill and regrade once the repair is done.
Idaho requires a Dig Line locate before excavation, and we call it in on every job. Call (208) 690-9720 or send the form below to set a site walk.
